No OTR suits for you! wink.gif

It was a twelve inch drop that forced me into custom suits (and shirts.)

Exactly. That's why I wish SuitSupply brins his MTM program.

A very proud time for me!

In my capacity as Captain I and the Duchess had the pleasure of hosting a New Year's Eve Dinner Dance to herald in the New Year. 200 people attended and we danced till the wee hours!

My next duty of office was to hit the first drive off our 1st tee to welcome in the New Year the following morning, Hic!

(I decided to hit the middle ball out of the three I could see!)

It is customary to have a secret theme to do this to regale the masses and we decided on a family theme so the Flower Garden took centre stage. The Duchess was Daphne, the girls were ghosts who chased me around our Mystery Machine, much to the amusement of 300 Club members.

Scooby snacks, lunch and drinks followed, only just recovering bounce2.gif

Lots of fun, happy days indeed!

Happy New Year to you all and the Cleav family hope you get everything you wish for in 2015!

I think that just won the internet today.

It's difficult to follow that post, Cleav, but someone's got to do it.  Today's a departure for me since I almost never wear cotton trousers.

That ensemble just isnt working for me. Given your bodyshape, and the way the fabric drapes, it accentuates the wrong aspects. And no PS - wtf?

At least the shoes are consistent.  Are they G&G bespoke?

You lucky bastard. Kiton (with exception of possibly one suit at bergdorf for the price of a nice used car) never fits me right, even with very good alterations.

All of my brioni's need work around the chest. I am planning to get a bunch of suits made at Liverano this year so hopefully that will be the real solution in the end smile.gif

I wore dark gray flannels and dark brown chelsea boots with this. I wish my flannel blazer were good-to-go.

Can't help but wonder if you bought the one suit at Bergdorf...

If I ever do get back in to my best shape I'd be a 44L with a 34 waist, would that be an issue or could the pants still be tailored I wonder?

Happy New Year's everyone.

Ha! Didn't purchase the suit at Bergdorf-- although I'm sure the $8k suit was crafted of unicorn mane and silverback gorilla chin whiskers, I'll take Sartorio fit Barneys every time 😃

I think yes if the suit is already a drop 8. Two inches doesn't seem like a lot and still will work but if it is a drop 6, 4 inches might not work.
