Thanks again for all of your kind comments in the past.

After lunch today, waiting for my friend to get through looking at shoes. (She was looking for some Albert slippers. This shop didn't have any but she found some black Albert slippers with pink quilted lining and an embroidered skull and crossbones in another shop.)

Brooks Brothers blue blazer, ecru pinpoint oxford button down shirt, and Argyle socks, Briar tie, Squarextraordinare pocket square (which my friend had "rearranged" earlier in the day), J. Crew Madras trousers, and Bass white bucks......

Everything but the collar is gorgeous, those lapels deserve a little more formality no?!

Another home run sir.

Yeah, normally I would wear a spread collar. But, I think this works with an OCBD. Good enough for summer! Thanks for your nice comment. Now, if the Tigers can get a few home runs tonight....

"Your Honour, I can assure you that the deceased cannot be seen beneath my bed...

My lawyer will attest to the fact that I have an unreasonable shoe fetish and have unemployed shoetrees in anticipation of further shoe purchases...

Yes, shoe trees, your Honour"!

"No, your Honour. I would not relish the opportunity to contemplate this further at Her Majesty's Pleasure"!

"A shoe tree? Who are you trying to fool? Shoes don't grow on trees!"

CP crushing the jacket tie BD color look. I think if he just pushed up with his tie in the collar roll a little bit it would fix the flatness at the top of the roll. Either way superb.

I really like today's fit, but yesterday feels a little too incongruous as the jacket in the top half seems F/W and the bottom screams S/S.

Thanks.
I see where that's coming from. FWIW, the SC is very S/S irl. Colors are very light, and it's a lightweight -- almost translucent -- wool.

I need to boost my photography game. But without a remote or a tripod, it's tricky.

This fit from yesterday...

The Friday Challenge this week is to assemble an outfit in which all of the elements (sans shoes) are blue, or have blue in them. It took some consideration to find a combo that would not be too overly dull and monochromatic (at least to my tastes).

I may make a second entry for this challenge tomorrow - we shall see . . .

Suit - Paul Stuart
Shirt - Turnbull & Asser
Tie - Seigo, NYC
Braces - Paul Stuart
Cufflinks - Cable Car Clothiers, SF
PS - Alain Figaret
Shoes - Paul Stuart house brand
