That looks a million times better without the jacket, ETB. The sweater's sleeves are too long, and it just looks rather unkempt with the jacket over it.

I have a red crewneck that I'll wear with an OCBD, tweed, and jeans pretty regularly. I think this could work with, say, a dark brown cord or moleskin jacket, or better still, something more casual.

+1 I don't really like a jacket without a shirt collar underneath.

Been away for a couple of weeks' skiing. First at Thredbo, then over the pond to NZ where I kopped a day each at Coronet Peak, Cardrona and finally my fave, Treble Cone. The latter has over 700m of vertical drop and plenty of double-diamond chutes, which is, y'know, kinda my thang. Thredbo on the other hand has nearly as much vertical drop, but features less of the steeps and more of the big sweeping GS-style runs. I suppose you could say that Treble Cone is to Whistler as Thredbo is to Blackcomb. Now all they need is a whopping great gondola strung between the two. Back to work today though. [sigh] Canali - Lardini - SuitSupply - Kent Wang - Omega - Canali - Carmina
You have three areas in need of attention: 1)Strap on a dress watch. That thing you're wearing would be better suited for ski togs. (BTW, your holiday sounds fantastic!) 2)Cuff the trousers. (Faux cuffs if short of material.) 3)Break out the edge dressing. Lord, am I persnickety.:embar:

Posting a more casual fit as I genuinely want opinions on it. M&S jacket (from a suit - I will be getting a blazing soon though) Benetton sweater Levi's 519s Vans Rata Vulc
LL
A blue blazer with patch pockets, in linen or hopsack, would dress down much better.

He's easily bored, but on the other hand he's just gotten a walk, so he's pretty content. The tie is blue, but the contrast to the suit may have it looking a bit purple-ish.

Might not be the place to put this, but I took this photograph in Hamilton and as you can see it made it to Mr. Porter. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if there are any narcissistic south western Ontarians looking for photographs, hit me up, son.
