Technically it doesn't, yes; but I liked it.

Last working day of 2014. I am really looking forward to almost two weeks off. Tie is new by the way. A cheap number from Gutteridge in Rome that my friend brought back for me.
If I don't get a chance to post more this year I would like to wish everyone a happy Christmas and all the best for 2015.

Friday and the holiday season. The Friday Challenge is to wear a novelty tie. The fabric pattern and material of today's tie are not especially novel, but a diamond-shaped bow tie in this day and age is certainly a novelty.

Blazer, waistcoat, trousers, shirt - BB
Bow tie - PRL
PS - no brand name
Boots - Cheaney, via Harrods
Overcoat - BB
Scarf - Barney's NYC
Hat - Selentino

This LED lighting give these fabrics no justice, but that's my only option at 0545.

Casual today. Too casual for the Classic Menswear section? And yes, I do enjoy looking at things very much!

Agreed. A knit is a cool idea in principle I think, but the horizontal stripe just kills it.

Thanks, Sander.

A pointy tip solid knit would work just fine, IMO.

That one is better off in the MC Casual thread, Adolesco....I like it a lot.
