Thanks mate, thats my favourite chair had it 25 years. I have a blue one too in the drawing room which got a sneak preview on Monday as I was chasing the light around. The gardens are offering little nowadays, pretty much dark here today at 4pm!

My chair is only three years old, but I treasure it above all other pieces of furniture I own.

It snowed today so I broke out the fair isle.

I'm glad you take it this way.

Light brown.

Now this is nice! Still definitely you, but toned down a little. Take away the sweater and you have a very nice, conventional outfit; with it, it becomes decidedly you.

Ah, too bad. I was hoping for light grey, surprisingly hard to find shirting fabric.

These suit trousers are fitted with buttons for braces. Perhaps I should start using them.

Which SuSu model is this?

(And yes, you should definitely start using your brace buttons)

Striped day

^^^ Are your trousers flaring out a bit at the hips? Otherwise a really good look, man :)

edit: maybe tie knot could be a bit smaller, too

The execution isn't really good. A less busy striped tie would have worked better if you insist on a stripe on stripe look and the knot is too big for the collar spread. Alternative looks that will lift the ensemble are your regular neats or grenadine ties.

As @kulata
said. Also, your trousers look like a mess because they are too long. Combined with the narrow leg opening, now they are 'standing' on you shoes instead of hanging from the waist. If you insist on narrow trousers legs, you should hem them shorter. I like the generous cuffs, though.
Shoes are a bit 'unusual' too, maybe go for something more conservative with this suit.

Edit: wrote my comment while on mobile. On seeing the larger pics, I'd advice fuller trouser legs instead of these very narrow ones.

I have a thick striped shirt like this one, exactly the same colour. I've always found it hard to wear, but you've inspired me to give it a shot this week smile.gif

Btw, my dream job is getting paid for looking slightly amused.
