Thank you, TTO, but right now, you're the front runner, and deservedly so.

Just gonna put this here for @Pingson

The white tie rig is new, picked it up only a week ago - feels great to finally have a rig that fits properly and that is not at least two sizes to large.

Picked up pizza on my way home and the guy at the pizza place has a sort of puzzled look on his face. I imagine not many people come and pic up pizza wearing full white tie attire..... biggrin.gif

so now there are well executed examples of both black and white tie fits in the thread...

Might as well put vox's picture there too.

Well, after barging about all my three piece suits, my week got too busy to take any pictures. I know it's too late but I found an old picture of the same outfit I wore Friday so i figured I'd share. Sorry there are not better pictures of the vest.

Voted for many but I have a slight preference for the sobriety of Coldsalmon.

  Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

The jacket is way to long and imho a vest ist comletely useless for a DB jacket.

I thought canadians wear something like this, even in the summer:

No... Joe Namath isn't Canadian.

Yes, in Canada, only the bears and the beavers wear fur . . . Well, maybe a very old-fashioned Inuit, but that would be sealskin.

Hehe. Did not know who that is. I search for "Pelzmantel Zuhälter" which means "fur coat pimp" and this was the first pic from the search.

Thanks for the mention anyway SB, and for the helpful criticism as always. I prefer suits without belts, but this one has belt loops so I figured I ought to wear one. All of my belts are $10 from Century 21, which might be why I prefer suits without belts.

I voted crusty and DC, since I thought they did the best job of looking natural while wearing a vest. I would have expected Pingson to get in on this one.
