The New York Times mentioned Standard & Strange in the Sunday May 2nd edition all about Oakland......

......while others wandered into Standard & Strange, a men’s clothing store that stocks rugged-looking American-made apparel and accessories as well as some carefully selected items from overseas like Tender jeans, which are handmade and dyed by one guy in Britain.....

Last May, at less than a year old, Standard & Strange was mentioned on Rawr Denim as one of the best places to shop for denim in the Bay Area.

"Standard and Strange has a strong focus on American made products. They carry Tellason and are one of the few stores that offer Rogue Territory..."

Last time I was at S&S they had a nice selection of Rising Sun. Although rarely discussed on Styleforum RS is one of the most highly respected heritage workwear brands, made in Pasadena, CA. Thier Blacksmith model is epic.

Did those come home with you?

Yep. They have a very comfortable roomy leg. Ideal for real work, camping, hiking. Broke them in on a camping trip to Joshua Tree.

Also depending on the weather you'll have a chance to see my ridiculous workwear fitz. Also for some reason Nike still hasn't shipped my af1 gums. So salty...

I'm going to be out of town for this but be sure to get Bill Charman to come. His office, Gimme Shelter, is right around the corner on 51st and Telegraph.
