I like the side profile of the 110 but from the top I feel like I am looking at a giant blob when its size like 7. It has no shape cause its so wide in the toebox that the heel isnt really distinguishable.

Im all for the wide feet people to get some long awaited due's thou! Cant wait to see pics.

Totally agreed.  The 110 last looks pretty darn awful for small sizes, especially from above (see here for an example).  Looks blobby like the Alden Trubalance last or something.

Not sure why people think roughout leather automatically implies workboot and wide last.  I have the boondocker on the 2030 last and it looks great

D only or is EE an option?

Just now need some feedback on sizing - still a tough one to take the leap of faith without ever having tried on a pair
I am a size 9.5 in both Viberg and the Trickers 4497 lasted boots. The 110 is roomier than the 4497, 2040 more snug.

The 110 is technically an EE last.

True to the Cabourn inspiration.

IMO the rivet is such an important detail on this boot...any reason why we cant get it? This boot is why I looked up viberg in the first place, I got the wax flesh on the way though, decisions decisions...

And after looking at the post above which linked to a photo of the 110 last from above I think I would, imho, only consider the 2040 last.  A bulbous work boot does not appeal to me.  For $700 or whatever it needs to look the part.

Viberg told us that they won't do it.

The 110 has a tapered, not upturned, toe.

Which size would I be on the proposed 110 last?  On the 2040 last if it comes to fruition?

Why can't Viberg distress the shoe - they did it for the Cabourn production?

Same question as per the rivet - once again it was done for the Cabourn production?

Dainite - or equivalent?  Why an equivalent?

Sorry for the above three questions however for a boot this price I do not think they are out of line at all.

Its pretty clear that this boot is not for you. All of your posts seem at odds with the spirit of the makeup and what the majority is voting on. The tone of each post has a very negative tone to it and I'm not really sure why.You also seem to be extremely hung up on the price of the makeup as you mention it in basically every post; clearly, the price to performance ratio is not justified to you and as such you would likely regret your purchase. I am not in on this particular makeup either but I still see he appeal of it and why others would be.

Is there a limit to the number of preorders on these or will Viberg make as many as are ordered in the 2 week order period?

One thing is clear: LA guy is a f*cking saint for dealing with all these custom designs.

Boondocker 2045 last on the left, Cabourn 110 last on the right:
