my vote is also for the 5 brass, I've been holding out for this exact order. Can't wait this will be the summer shoe for me! (if not this summer next and being in Texas the summer lasts through October)

Depends on the exact specs, but I think about $735 shipped within the CONUS.

Are there any other leathers that we could look into that have the same aesthetic as the pictured derby, but are more interesting and/or less commonplace than natty CXL?

Only debate about eyelets, everything else is set.

I'm definitely in for this.

I am a fan of the 5 brass eyelets.

Let's lock this down and book the order.

For a future order, yes, but we aren't going to do that for this makeup.

This.  People have been clamoring for months for this derby, so we aren't going to deviate from it much.  To my mind, it looks nearly perfect.

Patience, patience.  It is coming, and soon.

Fok,

I have some wiggle room with my 7.5 2030 boots. I'm afraid a 7 would be too small. Should I stick to the 7.5 and use insoles, or should the derby with its lower heel be worn as snugly as possibly?

Speaking only for myself, I would stick with the size 7.5.  Remember than the 2030 has an elongaged toebox.  Your toes are not supposed to go all the way to the end.

So how is sizing vs Bannock size? Never had anything viberg. Sounds like half size down from regular size for the 2030

It would be more helpful if you could provide some fits in other shoes/lasts. I think that would give you the most accurate sizing advice
