I am from Hong Kong. I am an user. I am inspired by the current trend of colorful dress shoes & have made some work boots in some colors combo that I like. The boots are made in China by an bootsmaker in the traditional way while I had supplied most of the materials if not all of them including Italy vamp leather , Austrian sole leather, Italy lining, steel shrank, British linen thread (welt) , German nylon thread (vamp), Vibram 705 half front, Cats Paw NOS heel, O' Sulluvan NOS heel & Brass eyelet & buckle. I am also acting as the "QC" which tones of emails are sent to ensure the standard is upto mine.
While there are many Japanese or even Indonesian made shoes/ boots, not much is mentioned/ shown about the quality of "Made-in-China" boots which I believe it provides a strong px to quality ratio. Workmanship, IMO, is not bad too comparing with those Japan-made boots such as White Kloud or Clinch or Rolling Dub Trio.
Costs-wise it is not cheap to me, I had ordered a total of 5 boots, 3 are done (the other 2 are orange & 2 tone Grey-blue - not yet) , the total costs to me is near to almost 3 pairs of White's. enjoy.
Comparing the workmanship of a pair of White's vs. Geeboo no.1
