If any of you are in the market for some brown monkstraps in 10.5, these might fit the bill. Purple Labels

Also, I got my Polo/C&J black Chelsea boots today. Sz 13 but they are still to tight on me (over the instep.) If anybody wants them for $200 plus shipping let me know, otherwise I'll send them back to Bluefly (where they will go back up for sale for $290 plus shipping.)

Too bad about the Chelseas, Andrew. I think Mr. Vass should treat you to free bespokes from here on out for all the great advertising you've done for him here -- I need to check Vass out at Louis one of these days. You are right about the incredible stock of shoes on Ebay. I need to go check out Nordstrom Rack in Phoenix if I can -- that's obviously where those "autographed" Santonis came from. He must have gotten them on the CHEAP.

In that vein - for all you Nordstrom Rack shoppers out there - if you see any Santoni handmades in size 13, please let me know. Depending on the original price I might be able to make it worth your while to pick them up and sell them to me..

If I go up to Phoenix next week -- which is a possibility -- I'll keep my eye out. I refuse to sell for profit to you though.

There is a pretty amazing stock of EGs and Lobbs on Ebay right now. Pretty great if your shoe size is btw. 9 and 11. For those who don't like some of the colors of these shoes up for auction -- perhaps you knew this already -- but I've had great luck darkening the color of shoes on my own, just with application of brown and blue shoe creme (wax doesn't do it; need the creme). I also once took a brown pair of loafers to a cobbler and had him die them black. Those shoes have since been worn into oblivion, but it's an option for shoes you want to change the color of.

A Harris-- I'd be thrilled to acquire your size 13 black Chelsea boots--but there's a catch.  (I'm referring to my AAAA heel.)  What is the width of the shoes in question? And thanks for the eBay postings. Scrumptious. Regards, Mike

I'll keep an eye out as I plan on visiting a few Racks this afternoon, and like johnnynorman - no additional cost, we have to take care of our sartorial brothers.
