+1 I got an FM adapter on whim once and it was basically a waste of money. When it
does work, the sound quality is abhorrent. I went with a clear case from Agent18.com. It's just a thin plastic casing with openings for the controls and jacks. It went on the first day I got it and my white iPod still looks absolutely brand new when the case comes off. I'd skip the external speakers. You can save a lot of money and get much better quality by simply getting a line out adapter and plugging it into your stereo or computer speakers. I just use the headphone jack and a cheap analog cable into my Klipsch Promedia 5.1s when I want to use it at home and it does pretty well in a pinch.
