BLK DNM vs. Schott NYC Leather Jackets

I'm trying to decide between the two leather jackets: BLK DNM 5 BLK DNM 5 and Schott NYC 626. My main argument in favor of Schott is that it's made of cowhide vs lambskin used in BLK DNM. Is there anyone here who had experience with both jackets/leathers in terms of looks/quality/durability?

Schott 626.

626 is slimmer than other models.

Can you explain why? I mean, I'd rather get a TOJ instead, but I don't want to wait 10+ months, need something now.

Just personal preference. Actually in retrospect I'd go for the blk dnm because the schott's belt isn't removable.

Thanks.

Well, aesthetically, I definitely like BLK DNM better, my only concern is the quality compared to Schott.

I have been impressed by the BLK DNM leathers I have seen, compared with other jackets around that price point. The Nordstroms near my offices carries them. I would wear one, and I sort of want the biker in dark blue.

Where the hell are you going to find a XXXXXL BLK DNM to fit your giant self Kunk? Seems like the biggest I've seen from them was an extra large.

it's basically do you want lamb vs cow but just so you know 626 is cut pretty damn slim

it's hard to get an idea of the whole fit from that pic but it's definitely not tent-like

Okay I went back and tried on the blue one again today and it was a bit much, so not so interested anymore in that. The blk dnm leathers are nice but they have more zippers and shiny buttons on them than I am used to, also I am used to a thinner lining. Still, a good jacket though at that price point. They seem to sell for a significant discount on ebay, so that might be worth checking out.
