The Levi's Store has marked down all their sale items an additional 20%. I was tempted to buy the unwashed Eco's, but they've been pre-abraded so I passed. However, I did pick up a teal cashmere sweater that originally retailed for $150, and paid $23. Any of you who can wear larger sizes than small should check out the capital E trucker jacket, I think its real sharp but they're sold out of my size.

i think he's talking about the capital E slim trucker jacket which does comes in "rigid".

edit: maybe try sizing up if you don't like the slim fit?

yes, the capital e jacket is rigid. I was however talking about the redtab standard trucker jacket which is about 100 dollars less. I wish that the one on sale was rigid, or that levi's still made rigid standard trucker jackets. I have not seen one online or in a store in quite some time.

size up on the capital E. Just save up a few paychecks. You'll be glad you did.

I wonder when was the last time they made such an item? Probably a couple floating around in farm stores out in the country.

Copped the Capital E jacket, a pair of Matchsticks, and a couple other odds and ends. I usually take a small in Levi's tops, but one of their denim vests in a medium fit me just fine so the jacket shouldn't be too bad.

What finish on the matchsticks? I noticed they didn't have any raw, but the salt-wash didn't look bad.

Both the heavily reduced cost and Houston's summer heat compelled me to place an order for the White Out finish for the sake of having a pair of white jeans in my collection. I took the opportunity to try the white 501s when the first shipments came in a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't too fond of how they looked on me. I liked the Salt Shock and [on other models] the Golden Haze finishes but nothing remotely close to my size was still in stock. I don't even want to talk about the Nearly Nothing finish.

i just checked out a couple of their stores in nyc and the sale's even better there. lots of shirts and sweatshirts for $9, lots of jeans for $19. Capital E jeans for around $50. i kinda got the hint that that capital E slim trucker would be down to $50 in the near future; if that happens i'm all over it.
