I'm a huge fan of the sushi at Douzo...it's near Copley.

I still love Locke Ober, and Turner's Fish Market in Melrose is unreal for oysters and clams.

Headed back to Boston for an evening before Thanksgiving. Looking to eat at a nice restaurant with entrees ~$25 and the meal will run ~$50 a person. Currently thinking about Sibling Rivalry in the South End. Any other recommendations?

I lived in Boston a while ago and one of my favorite restaurants was Bomboa.
Global Latin cuisine at its finest. It's 35 Stanhope St. It's a bit on the pricey side but if you go early and do the prefixed menu you can have a great dinner at an affordable price.

Any love for Mistral? I wanted to go there when I was in Boston in Sept, but didn't make it. Had a Sazerac and a Lobster Cocktail in Oak Bar, which was absolutely and throughly stunning, but I didn't really enjoy it. Wandered about when Oak called Last Call, stopped in at Bouchee, and greatly enjoyed a Gran Marnier Centenaire. ~ Huntsman

Rialto is great. It's very cozy and the food is presented very nicely. I'm a big fan of theirs and I've only gone once!

Mamma Maria - despite the cheesy name - offers top-notch Italian in the North End - and if you call ahead, you can reserve a private dining room! Way to knock ladies off their feet.

Just off Coolidge Corner in Brookline, by the Coolidge Cor. Theater is a little place called the Bodega Fiorentina with the best pasta I've had on this continent.

On Newbury St. just by Dartmouth, near Copley Sq., is a sushi joint called Shino Express with incredibly good sushi at remarkably low prices - no matter how much you eat, it probably won't go over $20/person AT THE VERY MOST.

+1 on Elephant Walk.

Anna's Taqueria is always worth a visit as a student mecca with good cheap Mexican.

Bartley's is the quintessential burger joint that lives up to its reputation.

I hear Om is very good, but I've never had the $$$ to go.

Agree on Bartley's & Anna's for cheap eats
