Did you go to the museums in Kyoto or ride the bullet train?

I enjoyed doing both of those. The Japanese countryside is gorgeous. Very green.

Oops, thought I put it in there. That was " Freshness Burger" there are two in Naka-Meguro. I took that pic at the one that is way up by Yellow Hat (bout 15min walk from the station), the whole front of the restaurant opens up durring the summer allowing for a pretty decent view and a nice breeze. There is another one that is about 2min from the station. Others are scattered all over Tokyo including one right outside of Ueno station (OIOI side). They use real cheddar and good Australian beef, the burgers tasted like something I would make at home, not like a restaurant burger at all. AF: I have been on he Shinkansen numerous times (to/from Osaka/Tokyo/Kyoto/Kobe/Nagoya) and have been to Kyoto a couple times. The first time I went to Kyoto I took a bunch of pictures and spend the whole day doing touristy stuff (riding Jin-rickshaw,seeing temples, etc). The second time I more or less just went shopping/walking around, went to a tea ceremony, proposed to my girl, bought her some flowers, and took a sweet picture of a shelter made out of interlocked umbrellas (NOTHING CAN BREAK THE SPARTAN UMBRELLA WALL!). The Japanese countryside is ok, I prefer the cities as I live in the country atm. Oh, and if you were wondering, I took the pics with a Canon Powershot A520 with 0.45x wide angle glass (and sometimes a macro lens) screwed on. So obviously the pics arent going to be as good as someone with an SLR but I fair ok with decent lighting.

Yeah, not the best window display ever, huh... the font was cool (found out it's Copperplate Gothic from Kent Wang). This is a cute shop in old town Quebec... very delicious pastries and coffee!
