Hi,
I just read as much as I can possibly read in that Wolverine 1000 thread. dozens of pictures and was convinced the "addison" Wolverines 1000's were for me. I was not dissapointed. The Wolverines are amazing in every way. They fit great with jeans, cordoroy and even slacks (well at least the wingtip).
I am looking at a 2nd pair and love the look of the Danner Forest Heights Piedmont Boots. Cost is $285. The thing I like about those boots the most is the mini Lug soles. They just look great.
My Wolverine 1000's are dark very dark brown. So, a very light Brown or Black Danner boot would be a good one to complement my wardrove.
Both appear to be handmade in USA
Both suppose to be handmade
Both promise great quality boot
Both Cost the same on Amazon
Both look very similar but the Danner has the mini lug soles, huge plus for me.
Does anyone have both boots and if so what are you thoughts?
