You CANNOT tailor this piece. Every seam is selvedge. But doing any adjustments you'll loose that self 'edge' and devalue the piece immediately by 50%+
post #1157 of 1373
my thought was that at every seam, only one piece of the fabrics has the selvedge while the other part is just "plain" and hidden, so an expert tailor could just cut the plain part and piece it back together. I haven't investigated, but I would definitely not remove the selvedge...

just don't do it. reverse swoosh.
I'm sure it can be done. You're not cutting the fabric but just merely taking it in. You're just gonna move the stitching on both panels and just end with more excess fabric in the inside. Probably half an inch on each side.

I think my solution is to keep the jacket and start deadlifting again.
Don't even worry about taking it.. like was mentioned, if it's super tight it's gonna bunch up when you sit down. It's kind of a boxy fit jacket, it's a super stiff fabric right? Embrace the fit wear it 'til it loosens up. It's not a bespoke suit, enjoy it!!

yeah that's kinda my issue with the ACA-EDGE/11 one I special ordered, maybe I should just suck it up and wear it!

LOL this is too funny man, we are all enablers, but seriously dude you look good in the jacket, sometimes we see it differently in the mirror when we look at ourselves, but I think it's a great fit, and not for nothing, it's tough to get that right fit with CCP especially, you and eton fit it 100%.

also take my word for it I wouldnt bullshit you, I call people out immediately when shit doesnt work, but that jacket looks butter on you bro,

YES, x1000, wear the shit out of it, that's what clothes are for :)

also, @t3hg0suazn and @dji0 it's cotton essentially right?, and over time it should form fit to your shape, which is really when it looks best, when some of the stiffness releases, and it form fits over time, same with the heavier leathers, the older they are, they start to look like a second skin, that IMHO is the best part of these garments

mine is ramie/wool, @dji0 has 100% wool version. yea @eton97 kept it in pristine condition :fistbump: so there is much breaking in to be done! @dji0, are you usually on the smaller side of 44? I cannot imagine fitting into a sz 44 of this

even better, then it will break in and shape, but not change its texture, thats a seriously nice piece man

if you guys are expecting it to fit like the ShuitSang fit pics then you better plan to be about 5'11" and 120 lb. A 44 fits tight and high above the hips if you're tall and rail thin like that kid. I can't even pull off that look at the moment and I'm generally a 6' skeleton. Load up on cigs, adderall, and vitamin water if this is your goal fit I guess.

LOLmatic psydle, I'm 6' and 205lbs I wear a 56 :violin:

I asked cause I think dji fits that bill (in a good way)
