Been stalking AE for months and right now they have an anniversary sale. The only thing holding me back from purchasing is sizing. AE shoes are not available from where I live and I doubt the online fit guide will give me the correct fit especially with the different fit for each last.

Now I was given a chance to travel to London on May so I'm just thinking of purchasing an english brand instead. What will be good alternatives to AE's McAllister or Strand considering the following:

1. Price is within the same range
2. Quality and craftmanship

Right now I'm thinking of Loake and Barker. Other english brands are just too pricey for me.

My last resort would be to look for stores in London that sells AE's, get my right fit and wait for another sale (as I believe AE's in UK are really expensive).

Thank You!
