1.Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme A/W11 runway grey melange heavy overcoat, size 3 (46/48), BNWT
From look #4 of the A/W11 runway collection, the heavy overcoat in a grey melange (mix of black, dark and light grey) with herringbone pattern.
55% laine wool / 45% linen fabric, partially lined in cupro (sleeves are fully lined). This is quite a heavy and substantial coat with a luxurious feel.
The coat has an A-frame silhouette, with a center back vent. The lapels are deeply notched. There is a 6 double button asymmetrical closure and an inner strap (with 3 buttonholes) that can buttoned in order to hold the coat together with the closure unbuttoned (as in the runway picture below). There are 2 outer flap pockets, 2 inner pockets, and the sleeves have 1 working button.

2. Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme A/W12 runway military style double-layer coat, size 2 (46/48), BNWT
From look #16 of the A/W12 runway collection, the French military style double-layer coat with brass buttoning and ornamental patches, in navy blue.
58% cotton / 33% rayon / 9% laine wool fabric, fully lined in cupro. This is a stunning material that is both luxurious and substantial.
The coat's front is double-layered. The inner layer is the layer with the lapels (which are notched) and is longer than the outer layer. Both layers have 2 front **** pockets. The layers are closed by 8 brass buttons, which can be unbuttoned to achieve a more open layered look. The actual closure of the coat is achieved by means of either 3 blue fabric buttons on the outer layer (for a tighter closure) or 2 blue fabric buttons on the inner layer (for a less tight closure).
The coat features 4 ornamental patches, on the back left shoulder, the back right hem, the front left lapel, and the left front lower sleeve. The pictures below include the 4 patches.
The coat has a faux back center vent (there is a fold that looks like a center vent but no actual vent/****), 2 inner pockets, and the sleeves have 3 working brass buttons.

SOLD: Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme A/W08 runway multi-pleated coat with plaid details, size 3 (48/50), excellent condition
From look #30 of the A/W08 runway collection, the multi-pleated coat in black with hidden plaid panels.
The coat is marked as a "Sample" and does not have a composition/care tag, so I am not sure of the material. It is likely a blend of wool and cotton and is fairly substantial. Very high quality fabric, as always from Yohji. The plaid panels are wool. The coat is fully lined in cupro.
The coat features 9 pleats along its hem, which are slitted and lined with red/blue/purple/green plaid panels. At rest, these plaid panels only peek out, but when the coat is in motion, the folds move apart, revealing the plaid panels. The model walking back in the second runway picture below demonstrates this effect, which is quite stunning. A truly remarkable piece by Yohji.
The coat has a 1 button closure, and the sleeves have 4 non-working buttons. All of these buttons feature an interesting decoration, which I captured in a picture below. The coat features peak lapels, 1 outer breast pocket, 2 outer flap pockets, and 3 inner pockets.

The coat is in excellent condition -- the only noticeable blemish I could find is a pair of small holes in one of the plaid panels. These small holes are really only noticeable up close and are demonstrated in the last picture below. The coat has been carefully stored in smoke-free environment.
