I thought single. Double can easily get you into the leather daddy look, especially with black. But I am open to the community. I need more chest hair, but I could be a daddy.

I love the term "sausaged out", it's very descriptive.

It's been said before, but I think it's refreshing and cool that Thurston is being receptive/supportive/proactive about this (hopefully they still feel this way once it's all said and done). I doubt "fashion" people make up a majority of their existing customer base.

I'd just like to chime in here to agree with sinnedk. The less this jacket has going on, the better IMO. Makes it easier to wear and more clean.

Well we need to find a balance between having too much going on and being minimal. Keep in mind that we have a specific model that we're using as inspiration. I like the derby jacket that was posted earlier in the thread as it's basically the same jacket as the Junya.

With side adjusters instead of a belt and some tweaks to the upper areas it could be just about right.

I agree and aren't we are using the derby jacket for our base Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

This has pretty much nothing to do with the Junya jacket but wanted to post because of the awesomeness and the minimalism SinnedK might be after

Is the derby jacket new? I admit I know little about Vansons models. It's almost like Vanson just decided to make it on their own once CdG stopped production after AW10. It's damn near identical. The pocket size and angles, collar and lapel size... I can't spot any differences in the design.

The synthetic fur collar on Pharrell's Junya x Vanson looks pretty good - Great option to consider. Although it's the 2 zip design, It provides some insight into a cleaner front design.

Warning: Spoiler! 2zip (Click to show)

I like the belt though but yeah, they can get in the way.

Indeed.
i must say, wearing a DR opened is like wearing a double breasted coat opened, something you shouldon't do foo.gif That pic above is not flattering for the jacket.

it's fine open without the belt IMO. Pharell rarely makes anything look good, to be fair...

The jacket looks bad on Pharell. The sleeves are too long, and it looks as though the front is too small. Shoulders are good though.

And yes, the Derby is the base.
