wait if that's available now, then what is the SF rider?

IDK at this point but why did thurston not make it clear that the version in the link is available for preorder and arrival in 6 weeks VS the sf rider and months of wait...

maybe thruston understood sf wanting further mods as not being satisfied, or interested, with that first pattern
so back to sq1 there and more wait time

but since they already had the first pattern made up might as well test it out with their regular customers

I'll have to ask, but I think that this jacket will have the specs of the sample.  I don't think that they want to sell the other version (shorter arms and tighter shoulders) without the sample coming in first, which is prudent.  Also, the Styleforum one will the the Japanese floral lining.  Making these samples costs real money.  I expect that @Thurston Bros figured that some of their core customers would like a jacket that is a but closer to a typical moto jacket.  My aero is a size 38, but with shorter arms and a slightly longer body, than usual.  And I am not a guy with short arms.  In fact, my slightly longer than usual wingspan is pretty much my only advantage in my otherwise lousy boxng.  The arms are made for being stretched over a racer.  Of course, I'll have to confirm that tomorrow.  I think that the name is okay.  But then, Daredevil is one of my favorite superheroes, so I may be biased.

Incidentally, we sent the sample off to @Synthese (yeah, that lucky bastard) who will do some fit modeling for us when he gets back from wherever he is right now.  Please keep in mind that he is taller than average (about 6'1" or so, I think), and is an ex-college athlete, and has a more athletic shape than most of us, so please keep that in mind.  Most of us (myself included) will not have the same angular and wider shoulders as does he.

Why not extend the offer to SF as well?

Yes thats what i understood that "DareDevil" is the sample version with rayon lining and Z150 leather. I don't want to make a deal of this but it would of been nice to have known that i can order the sample version because i thought the sample was good as is. I am sure several other members thought the same.

6 weeks VS 4 month wait.

Name is cool to me...

We're offering the standard fit right now....however, we're slimming the shoulder-to shoulder by 2 inches from the Junya fits...

What that means is that the shoulder-to-shoulder on the StyleForum.net fits will be

18.5" for size XL (46/48)

18" for size L (44)

17.5" for size M (40//42)

17" for size S (38)

16.5" for size XS (34/36)

16" for size XXS (32)

To clarify, the chest size is the actual measurement? Or is the advised chest size?

Well, okay, I'll only speak for my own 5'11", 175-180 lb frame then.

Thanks for clearing that up. How big of a difference will the waist measurement be compared to the chest measurement? This looks great to me.

Waists will be about 1.5 inches smaller than chests...we've also begun a cafe' racer with slimmer shoulders compared to the Junya fits...

So forgive a newbie.

Is this the same jacket except it has more shoulder width?

Is it available to order now?
