1. Do we know how heavy the leather will be?

We don't know yet, but we will choose something true to the inspiration, which was among the lighter comp leathers. For people wanting another leather, that can be done with a small upcharge.

2. Did everyone agree the belt goes?
We decided that we will most likely forego it, and have side adjusters, as found in another model.

3. what is the length off the jacket?
Yet to be decided, but probably slightly longer, to accommodate street, rather than riding, use. I believe that differences in length can be accommodated, however.

Consensus on these is essential...we know what will hold up over the long haul, so we need to choose from what's available in quality liners and hardware. For example, we can't do Riri...they're tough to replace if there's a problem....

Well, I was thinking something like ykk excella double tape in black nickel with ball/chain or doughnut puller, but really any gunmetal or black "approved" hardware would do, and for lining I was thinking bemberg but just want the coolest (as in not-warm) lining available

Bemberg is just a type of rayon, which they offer.

I propose a combination of these two jackets

Pockets on the body of the top one minus the little flap pocket. Sleeve zips, sleeve pocket, and beltless waist of the bottom one.

I propose that we forgo the coin pocket. @LA Guy thought we should have the handwarmer pockets at functional angles (i.e. 1st example above)...

Going a tad longer in the body will be essential. However, once the patterns are built, just as @LA Guy has indicated, we will be able to zero in on body and sleeve lengths per each individual customer's needs...
