Hi all,

My name is Dane and I'm from Sydney Australia. My first time posting so please go easy on me ;)

I'm in the process of rebuilding my wardrobe from scratch and am building it with the mindset "classic pieces, timeless style". I'm also looking for items that can be dressed up and down and for their versatility.

It seems like there's a great opportunity to buy sale items from the northern hemisphere and have them shipped to here. Obviously, trying them on is not an option.

In particular, I've been looking at Brooks Brothers. Seem to be reasonably priced, have a heritage and looked to be conservative enough to be used in smart casual and casual Friday in the office, but also add some well worn jeans and sneakers, and you can look casually sharp.

I've been looking at getting some rugby jerseys for slouching around the house, and knits/sweaters I can wear over the top of a business shirt and tie.

Here's what I am looking at

I'm about 6ft-6ft1", about 220 pounds, long torso,probably could lose 15 pounds (in progress). I'm looking for something thats flattering, and looks pleasing to others, not something tight, "trying too hard" and "fashion". I was thinking these in XXL would be suitable?

I also read this;

Which had me thinking that Brooks Brothers had gone out of their way to become fashionable and become slim fit, which is not suitable for me.

Can anyone advise as to whether I will have luck with these items?

Regards,

Dane
