We are experiencing seasonal changes at the moment for me living in Sydney Australia it's almost time to pack away the linen but not cold enough to break out the tweeds as yet.
For you folks living in the Northern Hemisphere the situation is the same but reverse.
Which got me thinking what do wear for the in between seasons? For me is a light worsted wool jacket.

The challenge is put up your best fit for a in between season jacket. to make it interesting.

No navy blazer
No tweed jackets.
No linen or cottons jackets.
Blended fabrics are fine.
A tie is a must.

Please post by 12th Saturday Midnight. EST

Here are some fine examples below.

This one is livened up by a shirt and tie combo that borders on the festive for me.

These pics are from a couple of weeks ago, when it was suddenly early summer-like for a couple of days, but they will do... the first picure is best for fit, the last for colour.

Details: Aquascutum wool/silk jacket; Kamakura shirt (in a very fine blue/green grid); Passaggio Cravatte tie; vintage silvertone tie bar; Post-Imperial PS; Mediterranea lightweight wool trousers; Stemar shoes.

Jacket is from an Italian wool/cashmere/silk weave and therefore in no way tweedy.

Blends are practically the embodiment of this challenge. Neither fish nor foul, neither spring nor winter, neither linen nor wool! But Both!!!

Ok, blends are fine linen, silk, wool mix etc.

That's the hold idea being in between seasons, not cold enough for us folks down under and not warm enough for you guys up north.

Subscribed, don't know if I can participate though since you pretty much excluded everything but my CBD suits, and it doesn't look like I'll have a reason to wear them this week.

So you mean that you don't let StyleForum dictate what you are wearing?? stirpot.gif

Of course I do lol8[1].gif

And when I think about it I realise I've got a whole bunch of SC's that work just fine in this challenge (the one I'm wearing in my profile pic among others).

Close!!

Just wool and linen together that is a problem. Woll and cotton is fine.
