Any experience with Pediwear's house brand (Paragon)?

Does anyone have any experience with Pediwear's Paragon line of shoes? Specifically, I'm eying these: http://www.pediwear.co.uk/pediwear-collection/products/4963.php

I'm new to the white collar, business professional world, and am in the market for a pair of high quality darker brown shoes. So far, I've acquired pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes in black, walnut, and burgundy shell cordovan, and am satisfied with the quality and style. I'm always on the lookout for a bargain, so I'll buy these if they're up to par.

Does anyone have experience with Pediwear's line? If so, how do they compare to AE in terms of quality, fit, and finish?

Have bought port isaac. Never used ae s, however better than loakes...believe that this line is made by Alfred sargent. Also their sizes run narrower than other makers so I would email them with your current ae size and model and they will advise on the best size.

Only thing I would say is that on initial wear they crease a lot..but after that it doesn't crease as rapidly.

Would recommend them though, esp at the price they're at. Much cheaper than the Dec sales price I bought them for.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was actually looking at a pair of Loakes from their 1880 line, but it's a no-brainer if the Paragons are better. The creasing is no big deal, as it would result from wearing any shoes on a regular basis. It's really hard to beat $180 shipped if the quality is up to snuff.

I probably should have checked first, but I think I found the reason they're so cheap. They only have a couple of sizes in each shoe, but not mine.

Their 27 last is long smart round toe; the upper leather is very supple and soft, but also very veiny around the lace holes in the quarter. The sole of the shoes are a standout for its price; channelled welt on a curved sole, slightly thicker than other leather dress shoes I have and the hardest wearing out of them all.

I have the Pendeen (I'm guessing yours is Port Isaac based on the bolded part above), which is more of a soft square-toe than the website shows. Nonetheless it's a really nice shape.

I agree with everything else.
