Ok, last challenge was a tie (yeah yeah) between me and Butler. As Stitchy hosted the last FC, he handed me the flame, so here goes: In this challenge you will have to put together a successful outfit involving a green tie. It may sound easy, and probably is to some, but I have seen some real disasters involving green ties, so don't get too comfortable. The tie doesn't need to be solid, but the main colour must be green.
Some examples (borrowed from the Armoury's & Vox's tumblr) edited to dismiss all claims of unjust advantages for Pingson:

This challenge will run slightly longer, since I can't post the poll until sometime this Sunday. Oh, and it has to be a fit worn this week. And an official note from the management: Since this contest could be construed to be peripherally golf related (green ties, green jackets,) one of our sponsors, Criquet Shirts, has donated a prize, with the permission of the OP, 3 shirts (a polo, a long sleeve knit shirt, and a button down) to the winner of their contest. In addition, all participants are offered a 20% off code for participants of the contest, code "STYLEFORUM". Criquet Shirts is a lifestyle clothing brand based in Austin, TX and makers of the finest vintage-inspired golf shirts, polos, and button downs known to man, woman and small child. They produce “High Performance Shirts for the 19th Hole”, clothes for guys who prefer a classic style and want to look as good off the course as they do on it. Cheers, Fok. Participants:

Yep, looking forward to this myself.

You posted an awesome fit the other week with a green tie, it ended up in the 20+ thread, you should definitely do something similar to that one imho.

Well, I am wearing that same sportcoat right now actually, so I don't think I'll wear it again tomorrow. There's a good chance I use that tie tho. Either way, thanks!!

I kinda wanna use the fit I did last week. :hide:

If I'm to participate I will have to use the fit in EFV's first post, can't imagine I will wear a green tie again this week (I only own one more green tie, and I don't like it that much). I wore the fit today, so it does qualify even if I selected it before I knew of the challenge.... :nodding:

Of course. Should I remove it from the OP?

Yesterday's fit works, I think. If I do green again this week, maybe I will edit. But for now, here's my entry. Colors are off (tie is a lovely green/blue), so if I get time, I will lay the pieces back out under better light and get a better shot.

Solid challenge idea. Would be in if I were not travelling.
