i found out from self edge's sufu thread when someone asked kiya about picking them up. he just said for those interested to just email him. at the time, he stated it can take 1-2 weeks since they make them next door to their SF shop and are made to order. i think he also said you can just pick them up from the store and avoid shipping if your near/around the SF store yeah i thought so too but there is that extra belt loop ring that can be used to hold the extra length also if you cut it, wouldnt you be too close to a pre-existing hole? doesnt that look worse?

Yeah, you can pick them up at the SF store. I emailed selfedge and got a response at 10:50am . I referred to them as "custom wrought iron hanger"

Heh, SF strikes again! Those belts would look great with age. Just make sure you oil them periodically. I remember the photo of the 10yr old one on the Inventory site, and it looked pretty beaten up except for the keeper, which probably got a lot of hand oils. It was such a nice, rich color.

Need to see this in more marketing copy. "Enjoy the rich patina that can only come from artisanal, repeated applications of small-batch hand oils."

yea this is the pic that sold me when they first got it in. its expensive but about the same cost of a tanner and other american made belts plus i had a bunch of credit with inventory so figured i should just grab.

but that ebay find is great even if the quality is slightly less but looks identical to be honest

This is the second time someone has posted that the quality might be less than the Inventory one. How can it possibly be less if they're both selling the exact same dead stock belts?

^precisely. it's the same belt. i checked the history of the prices of the belts. originally it was first sold 12-13 gbp (and inventory grabbed them by truckloads) then it consistently went up to 15, 17, 20, etc. quite sure inventory made quite a few bucks on them. i grabbed one of course as the price is still darn good. and also that ebay seller has nice army stuffs as well. real gas mask bags, combat tank goggles..

oh yeah i have no idea about quality, but someone earlier mentioned it might be diff or something. sorry not trying to promulgate wrong info. like i said earlier, its at a great price compared to inventory so people should kop asap
