Not too sure but I think they go by the name on the package. They won't accept any more packages until you pay up. Fedex did this with me, for like $15. They didn't collect it at the door, I just got a notice saying "GIVE US CASH" and I had to call some number.

They might send a bill to your billing address. I had this happen to me once when I sent someone a gift by UPS and it came to Canada from the US. I ended up paying ~$25 months later because I forgot about it and they sent if off to some bill collection agency.

Yeah fedex sent me a bill for like $10 a month ago for something I shipped... when I paid for it with my credit card online I just ripped it up and forgot about it, but if it goes to a collection agency..

^^ for future reference, check their affiliate thread (there's a small text link under their affiliate banner)

Working code afaik is still SFDEC, and its 15% instead of 10% until January iirc

Last month I ordered a jacket from Italy which came to $1100 and was shipped UPS. A week ago I received a customs bill from them for $72.

When the item arrived in Philly it took two days to clear for "inadequate product description" and was obviously opened to check the contents. Customs didn't bother to tape section they opened but luckily the jacket was a piece of tough outerwear. If it were something more delicate who knows what would've happened. Probably nothing...

It's expedited shipping from Europe, can't expect to not pay for the service. The VAT deduction helps ease it a bit to the states though. Package arrives in like 3 days.

Did you ever end up paying duty on your order from wrongweather?
