Seems entirely logical and fair to me, and is a reason not to snooze on the great prices.Share
It's not fair to sale sunglasses of old spring collection without reducing the prise.

Why? Is it law that last year items must be sold at a discount? If it isn't selling well it makes sense to drop price obviously but it isn't required.

Old spring selection? You presume that those same style of sunglasses aren't made season after season. If they had a Ray-Ban Wayfarer on sale (arguably one of the most classic sunglasses produced season after season) and then adjusted it to the pre-sale price would you be arguing that they were from the "old" collection? And if you actually looked, they do have some of the more seasonal sunglasses still on sale.

Most of our eyewear is permanent collection. We constantly restock the same styles from Lesca, for example.

We often include permanent items in our sales, in the spirit of the sale season, not because we need to clear them out. When that happens, if you see something you like at a price that sounds fair to you, act and don't wait for further discounts. Like everything, sales eventually end and don't last forever

FYI Self Edge in San Francisco at least had a two-month turnaround period that they only told me about after the transaction was complete.

I've used railcar fine goods many times for hemming and a couple of times for repairs. The longest I've waited was two weeks. Their communication level is also outstanding.

Railcar is my go-to as well. Great service.
