Guys, can we PLEASE not have another 2-page discussion on this shit?

I don't mind the occasional digression on this sort of thing, but it's really gotten to be a bit much over the last several weeks.

Does anyone know if SSENSE has maximum discounts? Some items I have been watching have been at 70% off for multiple weeks now without further reduction. Do they go deeper?

70%? Seriously?

Without stirring up a shitstorm...

In the SS15 sale, SSENSE did put an "extra 10% off sale" kicker at the end that dropped things a teeny bit further. (If something was 70% off, it was now a whole 73% off!) But they didn't do that last season. What they typically do now (and I know most of the regulars of this thread already know this) is if something doesn't sell at 70% off, the listing goes down when the sale ends, and it pops up again at the same price at the end of the next season.

I know it's ill-advised to add my own opinion into this, but I'd take 60% off with the option to return over 70% off final sale anyway, ten times out of ten. In the long run, the former is a lot cheaper.

Also, Helmut Lang just dropped to 60% off. (Final sale for all) The high tops are $158 if you dig em.

20% off Dreambox at Yoox, too.

Love the manbabies who cant handle a question about how a website conducts it's sales. Good job guys. Im sure you are real nightmares to be around.

JE panneled sweaters in grey at Atrium NYC, $76. Also had villain hoodies in black and in grey size xxl for around $100. Some in size small, but very few.

Can do a proxy for someone if they wish, I'm here until Wednesday.

Anyone know of anymore sales in NYC?

Manbaby Calls Others Manbabies Over Backlash Regarding Sales Reduction Question
Basic StyleFarmer vents his frustations during final sales season

NEW YORK - StyleForumer @shoewizz did not mince his words to voice his annoyance at other StyleForum users for being dumbfounded that someone was expecting further reductions past seventy percent, calling them "manbabies". Other users, appalled that people were still asking about further reductions even after all the previous drama, quickly responded with sarcasm and disdain. At this time, no serious physical injuries have been reported, but inside sources believe the aforementioned user is displaying symptoms of severe butthurtedness.

Anybody know if and/or when Mr. Porter will increase sales discounts again? I have my eye on some Hender Scheme New Balance "homages." If anybody want to weight in on Hender Scheme, that would be great too!

Speaking of Mr. Porter, they just added a lot of returned/new/re-stocked items. I picked up several things.

Ralph Lauren has a decent-good additional 30% off sale.

Weren't people pooping their pants over these Rick Owens sneakers like a year ago? Why are they still available?
