I have 2 RC sweatshirts and they've held up well. Not a fan of black athletic gear anyways

They've held up well because they're not black. The cotton is pretty shitty too h&m has better sweatshirts unfortunately.

Shit, I have a navy sweatshirt sitting in my closet that has yet to be worn - scared to see it after a wash. My black mid-weight zip, get tiger fleece, and ash light-weight hoodie have held up beautifully. There seems to be a deal of variance between the draw strings, on one hoodie they're all shrivelled up but on the other they're as good as new. I emailed RC and they sent me new drawstrings

The wings and horns stuff doesn't seem to be affected but then they aren't 100% cotton are they? I wash my clothes very carefully and the hoodie was in cold water with a gentle detergent that doesn't have optical brighteners in it or other harsh ingredients. I also add a water softening agent along with another additive that neutralizes the chlorine so it doesn't bleach my dark clothes or yellow my whites. I also didn't put this in the dryer yet somehow after the first wash it developed a whitish cast to it that got worse after the second wash as well. The drawstrings are the cheapest I've ever seen. I've never had this happen to any other article before which leads me to believe they use a shitty dye. I will be buying another brand next time. The cotton has a very rough hand and the only good thing is the fit, that's about it.

Interesting, why do you not like the cotton? I'm pretty happy with my grey one

Perhaps the other colors are different and possibly so but I can only speak for the black which felt like sandpaper since the day I got it. Compared to other stuff I've felt is the least luxurious by far and I do quite enjoy rustic fabrics like lambswool and crispy linens as well, however, this does absolutely nothing for me and is just plain scratchy.

Last post on this topic sorry for the derail guys.

Don't be surprised if it takes a while to ship. 6 days in my case.

They're way too cool for that. Though the SAs respond quickly via e-mail and are helpful.

I have several RC pieces and they've all held up very well. I have a black sweatshirt that hasn't really faded, still a good dark black (prob washed it maybe 2-3x). I have a grey hybrid sweatshirt, a few hoodies and 2 sweat pants. All are very comfortable. I'll admit that I wear the black one the least for the very fear of fading. I wash them all with woolite dark in cold water and hang dry and haven't noticed any significant fading in any of them.

If anything my JE villain in black has faded considerably more compared to my black RC sweatshirt with the same number of washes and washed the same way. Love them both though (maybe the villain a bit more cause I'm a sucker for zippers).
