random thought but buying a mattress is the hardest thing ive ever had to do, reviews are almost useless because its either 1 or 5 stars for most mattresses, and theyre so damn expensive.

Not really... you can get a pretty decent mattress for $500 (or less), which isn't too bad considering it can last you a decade or more.

Buy an nice matress it will be worth every penny, if you can come up with the money for sf you sure can buy a nice matress.

Check out Fuuma's awesome post on mattress buying a couple weeks ago. That's all you need to know right there. Way too much BS and myths on mattresses.

heavenly bed from nordstrom--one of the best purchases of all time--**** is unreal.

also, you can return it in about 10 years and get your full money back. not that i would do that...
