VAT is 20% on top of the retail price. The deduction should be a little less as a percentage of the advertised price - apx. 17%.

Why are the discounts appearing to be more generous on the Mr.P USA site? Most stuff here is only going to 60% - and new lines added come in at 50%.

USA also has a free delivery option - we are charged £5.

I do find it frustrating that they pull lines and then drop them in half-way through sale, that's another £5 I have to waste.

I have picked up a few more items this morning, but this certainly one of the most disappointing Mr.P Sales. Roll on AW15.

USA site has gradual drops as well. Also, I believe UK site deduct vat and adds duties

But USA site doesn't deduct VAT or duties for export?

When I last ordered (summer sale 2014), the shipping was £10. I don't mind paying 5 pounds if it results in extremely speedy delivery and great packaging. My order shipped a few hours ago. I think we're better off without free shipping - it would only end up with everyone placing one item orders at a time to avoid losing out. Would result in longer dispatching times and sloppy packing IMO.

I agree that the whole sale was rather disappointing. Kopped a few items, a Zanone sweater, a Officine Generale sweater and a pair of Nudie jeans. Nothing really peaked my interest though. Maybe 80% helps.

Please let me know if someone bought those Saint Laurent grey/black sweaters in Medium from MrPorter and they did not work out for you

BULL SHIT! I refuse to believe some of the stuff on SSENSE suddenly sold out when practically all sizes were available a few hours ago. Is it really time for stores to make room for F/W inventory? Seems rather early.

Sale ended. Maybe you can contact them to buy a particular item, otherwise wait till next sale when all old stock is up again.
