That happens all throughout the sale with current season items that have been returned. I haven't noticed anything from the winter sale.

Yeah the only Porter restocks are current season returns. Previously they restocked the site with past season items for 80% off. Saint Laurent for example hasn't edged past 60% but last summer and winter they would restock past seasons at 80%. So many good deals. I remember Suits and Jackets for like $5-700 down from $2500, Sneakers, shoes, etc. Now there are only like 2 or 3 items left.

Oh well.

How are you guys keeping track of the restocks btw? Through wishlists/just refreshing the sale pages?

You'd think, but in SLP's case they are just keeping them out of the sale.

The NMWA talk about the guy ordering the shoes and then returning it reminds me of assholes who recommend wearing new shoes for a few hours on carpet to see how it works out. You're still putting wear into the shoes, including the cork footbed and wear in the leather.

The things you have to deal with as a store-owner are really ridiculous.

Much of that can be credited to the alden thread (and uncle mac). Good advice for customers no doubt, but not so good for retailers taking the returns, or being the guy receiving pre-footbed-imprinted shoes after previous buyer has walked on carpet for nine hours in them (having been on the receiving end of the latter scenario several times, I can share retailers' angst about inconsiderate buyers. But then there are retailers who send horribly creased and shop-worn boots as well (especially boutique stores) and then wonder why the customer is returning them, so it's hard to just blame the buyers.

Anyone have a favorite place to score a nice turtleneck? Woolen, maybe.
Who makes a good cut?

It takes a really, really long time for the cork footbed to mold.
