US Mr P is more exxy than UK Mr P from my experience, but they do have more stock (probably because of the price difference?).

Also willing to pay a bit more for their awesome returns policy / customer service.

Agreed, between the huge amount of shipping and taxes they hit you with the savings aren't THAT amazing.  Certainly not Tres Bien sale levels.

My experience was rather different. After placing an order, I received an email about them not being able to ship due to the billing address being different from the shipping address. I call the bank and change my address so they are both the same. Then I notify Mr Porter. Next day I get another email similar to the previous one only this one says my order was cancelled. Within two hours of recieving that mail, I contact the bank who basically suggest asking Mr Porter to reprocess the transaction. When I call Mr Porter, I am told that 2 out of the 3 things I ordered are unavailable. Ridiculous.

And it gets better,  I was first offered free next-day and $50 store credit which I refused. Then another customer rep called me and offered me free next-day and $25 store credit. They also suggested that I buy similar items but at full price. "I would be happy to help you purchase xxx which is similar to the xxx you ordered but it is not on sale"

I don't think I am conducting any business with them.

lol so many places cancel orders for that reason, but very few will offer free next day shipping and a 50 dollar credit... That's pretty good customer service IMO.

you refused $50 store credit because items went out of stock after the order was canceled because your addresses don't match up?

people love to complain
