Nevermind, they offered them for 190 shipped... couldn't say no to that. At that price I feel like I'd wear them more too.

I believe the rule is to keep it under $200 to avoid duties from End. I've placed 3 orders in the 160-180 range per order and have never been hit.

Also, how'd your BBJ coat work out? I like it but I'm having a hard time settling for the chore coat when I know there's a long coat out there...

FWIW, I am usually an 8.5 but I wear a 42 in CP. My feet are a bit on the wider side though, so your mileage may vary.

So, I have both the chore coat version and the longer coat - the chore coat is fairly fitted, while the long coat is meant to, and does, have a boxier, A shaped silhouette.  Just fyi.  I like both, for different reasons.

Yep... when a US customer recieves an international delivery, it's not just customs they are charged, but all couriers that aren't 'nationalized' (ie not usps, royal mail, canadian post, etc.) will generally hit them with a brokerage fee for anything valued over 200, even if it is made in USA and is custom exempt. They pay 3rd parties in customs to get the items through quicker than the standard customs, though I am skeptical it is actually faster. Under 200 is typically exempt from both customs and brokerage fees.

No sizing and customs questions in the sales thread please.  There are sizing question threads and a thread on customs as well.  Please use those.  I'm going to delete any and all comments about sizing and customs from hereon in.  Thanks,

Fok.

Indeed, but I am going to start a Blue Blue Japan thread, and I'll answer your question if you post there.

Nice, I'll wait for yours then. Had a tab opened and was about to create the thread myself. xd

Someone mentioned the Nordstrom sale already, but they got these Golden Bear jackets on sale, including a suede varsity and harringtons. Handled a GB varsity recently and they're real nice and substantial, I'd take it over a ToJ if they had black.

Sorry couldn't resist

Honestly I'm just a little iffy on sizing. I'm an 11.5 on the brannock, right on the border of D and E width. I figured there was a high chance of returning them if they are too narrow, so that's why I'm still thinking about it.... I am sure they'd be final sale. I heard Wings and Horns aren't as narrow so that's why I was thinking about just shelling out more for those. Also I'm unsure if Rooney helps avoid customs/duties.

You don't sound like a 45. I'd say 44 - I'm between an 11.5 and 12 and I wear a 44.
