I emailed them about this, and their reply was: "We’re just a site trying to reach out to potential readers. We don’t think we’re spamming, if we’re posting something maybe once a month. " facepalm.gif

I ended up having to ban him as I gave him a warning about spam, then he tried doing it under new accounts which I have filtered so they never hit the new page. He then went back and posted again under his normal account and got the ban.

i actually like that idea.  steve jobs used to say "don't ask me what i want, show me what you have and i'll tell you if i like it".  i certainly do enjoy the serendipitous finds but it sure wastes a lot of my time...

Half off at The Mandon Store with 'summer 50'. Not much left there, although there are a couple Aero cafe racers and a Filson bag.

Honestly, so many of the posted measurements on their site have me scratching me head. On the one hand, I'm sure I've saved myself misfires. On the other, I don't buy things due to measurements that I can't imagine being correct, but don't want to deal w/ proving right or wrong.

Isn't that the store that did the Inverallan group order and raped everyone with delay's and customs? Apologies if not

Yes and no. They did the group order, but I never had an issue with customs. There were some terrible delays with the last handful, and I think a few people did not receive theirs (although, Mandon did offer to let them choose from their current stock at the time, but maybe were not responsive).

That's the store. I tried contacting them on many occasion after being one of the few who never got their order and never received any responses other than return read receipts showing they read the emails. They aren't open on weekends (or weren't at the time) and considering I work during the week when they would be open, calling them was near impossible as well. Terrible customer service from my own personal experience so I'd never support them again.

Well that kinda sucks. I was really hoping they'd up some discounts by a little at least. :(

Any idea when their sale will end though?

Matches occasionally will do an extra 20% off on sale items for a few days. It's random though, I shop there regularly and don't think they've done it for all recent seasons, just some - so I suspect it has something to do with how they are doing with stock that particular season.

If it's something you really want, you should get it - I don't think they do re-stocks and I don't think their website tells you when there's low stock or one item left (like Mr Porter).

They did an extra 20% off back in January/February. I got a pair of Alexander McQueen slippers then. They also had an extra 10% off this past weekend, so who knows when they will do it again.

You got an extra 10%? Was that a USA-specific offer? Hong Kong didn't get offered that (we got offered free shipping this past weekend).
