No chance I'll resist those bad boys this year.

how would you stack them (buttero and cp) vs lanvin low captoe in comfort and durability?

Wouldn't happen to be a YOOX dream box code (US) floating around would there?

Comfort and durability are 2 different things.

Personally I rate them as follows;

Comfort

Lanvin
MMM
CP
Buttero

Durability

Buttero
CP
Lanvin/MMM

I've babied my Lanvin and GATs a little though so not sure how well they would cop a beating.

Buttero are not quite as comfortable as CPs but I do think they're more durable (harder wearing) and better looking (due to their rugged nature).

Big fan of both though. Each has their place.

thanks, I've had several lanvin captoe and a couple mmm gats and would agree lanvin are super comfy but I wear out the heel part pretty fast, even faster on the gats, so looking for alternatives
I've had buttero boots but no sneakers yet, might give them a try with comfort insole

You just need to have a ridiculous number of shoes like I do so that it takes 25 years for the heels to even begin to wear down smile.gif

Lanvin soles defiantly wear down faster then the ones used on CP's and Butteros, but Lanvins also have more padding in a lot of there shoes. Which make them more comfortable but also give them a skate/bmx silhouette which I don't really prefer.

Some ridiculously good deals on Schneider at thestylechamber, i.e. http://www.thestylechamber.com/stephan-schneider-coating-stole-navy/

Shipping is really expensive but if you buy a couple things might be worth your while.

Did you order anything from here ever? I did some research awhile back and came to the conclusion of it being a fake website. I had a paraffin in my cart and when I got to check out it showed it would only cost like $300 "non-sale" lol and tried days later and still said the same thing. No Paypal so I wasnt going to risk it with a CC.

^ I did. Regretted. will never again shop there. Their customer service blows. I bought 3 items and they missed out one. No one responded to my emails. Refunded only for 2 items. took 2 months for refund.

Damn, I would love to order from them they have some rare colorways of Schneider pieces. But they also list his stuff as S, M, L and from personal experience I don't trust that when designers use a specific way of labeling sizes shops should use that way also.
