If they make your feet hurt, you obviously have the wrong size or your feet are too wide. They fit me like a glove. Leather is hit or miss depending.

i dont know. i feel like once you get the right callouses its totally fine. i buy my loafers and sockless stuff kinda small and it usually stretches to fit perfectly.

If your shoes are giving you calluses they probably aren't fitting right....

I had Buttero sneakers also and they were awful, but I had a pair of there boots and they were top notch and very comfortable even during the first wear.

People with wide feet can always try stuff like this http://www.amazon.com/Meltonian-Shoe-Stretch-Aerosol/dp/B002TECJN6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391288397&sr=8-1&keywords=shoe+stretch

Yeah I've got a pair of the tournament high off-white (suede x fabric) and they feel and look awesome, as expected, when clean or beat to shit.

I gave my roommate my buttero chukkas, did not like the fit at all. Insoles were really uncomfortable and feet slipped around inside while I wore. They were comfy enough but for the price not amazing...

It might interest some to know that certain Buttero models are made without a side seam, unlike CPs.

How do Kent Wang's compare to CP an Buttero? They basically look like Achilles clones. Tempting at $95.

How you might imagine them to: a cheaper approximation.

Store closing at end of the month. CP Chukkas at $135 or so, some OL and APC as well

I own quite a few pairs of CP and Buttero sneakers and you really just need to buy the right size. As these shoes differ in how they're finished (lined, unlined, padded) and styled (sneaker, chukka, boot), i don't think there are many people who can simply wear a single size across the board.

Personally I'm a US9 and I wear a 41 in unlined/non padded models, generally the Tournament, but a 42 in the padded models like the Achilles. One thing I notice is that my footprint fits a 41, but I have a high vamp and I need the increased size overall to be comfortable.

With Buttero sneakers they're not padded so I wear a 41.5 (I've not seen half sizes on CPs).

Also word of advice, I've had 2 of my 3 pairs of suede tournament lows which were unlined tear open at the ball of my foot. Thankfully I for refunds on these pairs. I don't believe going to a 42 would have helped this. They're just not up to standard IMO.
