That's such bs (on the complaints, not you) imo. The incentive is to get your item to move. If its something of incredible value to members, it's gone in an instant. If no one really wants it, you lower the price to move it.

> The majority of complaints I hear are that the market does not move fast enough because there is no incentive for sellers to ever drop prices.

Got my order from TBS. Talk about fast. And they also valued the contents at 34 euros to avoid customs fees. TBS :slayer:

Yeah Fedex told me January 4th but it's on the vehicle for delivery. In California as well so this is super sonic speed for standard shipping

It's not BS. The proof is there in the fact that B/S used to move quicker. Now it's stagnant. Do you think it's just because sellers stopped listing incredible items? If so I have a bridge to sell you...

I hate to be the "10% unemployment, global recession" argument guy, but is it not a valid concern? I think MC moves much quicker than SW&D...but thats just an observation. Retail has suffered. It's the first thing people cut back on. Im not saying you can't improve B&S, but I really dont think that the issue lies in people not having an "incentive" to lower their price.

We were in the same recession when we moved to the new system for the forum and they changed the rules. Yet things moved faster then. It's not a valid argument on your part.

EDIT: I see your join date is 9/2011. If you didn't lurk much before creating an account, this explains things. You don't really have experience with how B/S was before.

that's fair. I have more experience on other forums. In my experience, the exposure of the thread, the price, the pictures...all of that will determine the sale. Obviously, the prior system was more competent and more fluid.
