in addition, this is a place that serves as many people's sounding board.  maybe totakeke just wanted a sympathetic ear (sounds corny i know) but maybe he just wanted to hear what other fellow SF'ers have to say to help him (a bit more likely scenario).

if you don't want to read his updates, just simply move your eye balls down to the next post. it's not like there are no other rubbish posts on this forum.

a little bit of tolerance/sympathy goes a long way...

Does it have to be in the Sales Alert thread though? I'm sympathetic but surely there has to be a better thread on SF for the venting...

True. Given how much he's posted. It probably deserves a thread of its own.

I'll be the first to subscribe.

Some decent W+H on Gilt right now, including that ombre knit from last F/W and that mac coat. I had the ombre knit in my cart, since that was one of the few things from that collection I liked - plus I have a lot of Gilt credits to burn - but opted against it, since virgin wool is too rough for my pampered skin.

Don't mind jet, he is still in his edgy phase. You'll get used to it eventually.

I can't help but think that everything on gilt is priced such that they take the current price an item is selling for, double it, then cross it out, then sell it for the current price and call it a crazy deal

The Mac Coat at $299 is a pretty good deal. Most webshops stopped at about 50% off. If it was returnable for cash I'd try the medium, as the small is a bit tight to layer under.

Yeah EG however I doubt their was any stock left at that price. Even at $600 it was trim pickings. Hopefully you fell better

They were all sold out when I checked, which was just now. Maybe others had better luck

So is DSW a good source of discounted quality shoes? Always had this impression they stocked Aldo-level stuff
