jeezus that is a GREAT deal... I have an s90 and love it for portable and convenient point&shoot duties.... I got mine with extra batteries, extra memory cards, hard case, and screen shield for around $350 last year. But $229 for the camera alone seems like a steal!

I have a Canon P+S from a few years back that I think is excellent. I was asking more out of curiosity. The talk is that the P+S camera will become a thing of the past in due time because certain smartphone cameras are getting so good. Obviously we aren't there just yet but I'm curious as to when and if that day will come.

Right now I'd still use my P+S on vacations and special events. iPhone for everything else.
