If your paycheck came in minus a couple of grand because someone made a typo, you wouldn't shrug your shoulders and say it was all okay. Normal employees with bills to pay and families to look after get hurt. If you don't understand why that's more important than cheap shoes then you need to grow up.
What fantasy world is this you live in? If the orders get cancelled no big deal no one is gonna make a big stink about it, but how are you comparing a price mistake to someone not getting a full paycheck?
And again... How is anyone getting hurt? They will or will not honor orders. That's up to them to decide. How is that gonna hurt John and his little boy Timmy? This price mistake will undoubtedly have an affect on Timmy's scholastic endeavors which will result in him not getting into college, becoming an alcoholic, and then wasting away with the dregs of society. Thanks for preventing that with a phone call.
