How would you "hurt" the business if what you said is in fact true that they have some fine print that allows them to cancel orders due to a price mistake? Whether they honor the orders that went through or not is their call.

man are you guys new first rule of a hot deal is to never call about the deal. sometimes even if it is a pricing mistake they will honor the first couple of orders.

I shouldn't have to explain why taking advantage of blatant pricing errors is wrong.

If your paycheck came in minus a couple of grand because someone made a typo, you wouldn't shrug your shoulders and say it was all okay. Normal employees with bills to pay and families to look after get hurt. If you don't understand why that's more important than cheap shoes then you need to grow up.

Unless you're into clunky, middle management shoes, it's probably better you all missed out anyway.

except the only person impacted is the owner, his bottom line is impacted in a way he would probably never notice. everyone else is paid, everything is fine. but a small clerical error might have gotten you the base cost...

I ordered a pair - my only quality footwear right now is boots. Hopefully they won't cancel all the orders, but I'm cool with that if that's what happens. A deal is one thing, but yeah, I'd rather not take advantage of a typo, especially when I have no intention of giving them more business in the future.

sometimes businesses will honor mistake pricing as a PR move -- depending on the volume fulfilled, whoever made the typo would likely get the axe.

SilentPartner is that Whatever123 guy who was banned a while back. He was the one sayign that people who take advantage of sales are bad because they are hurting the business. He some supply-side piece of shit.
