I feel like if you're gonna buy GBV shirts, do it because you think whatever print you're getting is awesome, because the oxfords aren't anything that special. The fit is ridiculously bad on me, at least; a medium borders on pulling at the chest, billows out something terrible at the waist, and is a little too short in the arms. The materials I've handled were mostly pretty nice, the buttons were kinda interesting (I think they called them "chalk"?), and they did a good job with stuff like contrast stitching. Buttons aside, though, I wouldn't say Uniqlo is that much of a step down and should fit decently enough once I have the box pleat sewed down.
tl;dr - If you're into one of the funky prints from, get that; if you just want an oxford, don't bother.
