Comparably I picked up some grensons and while the shoes were nice the fit was off. His whole personality though is a turnoff for me, but until I can get comparable shoes at these prices ill continue buying. I tend to get the more traditional looking styles though.
His shoes are made by Sanders, a pretty decent company in Northhampton, though not by far the best. I'd say that Trickers are considerably nicer, in that "country shoe" style. What McNairy does offer are more interesting makeups. Of course, if I wanted say, a pair of standard Bertie chukkas, I'd rather just buy them Sanders, which are considerably cheaper.
