People have been watching Extreme Couponing on TLC a little too much. Just have to realize you can't apply the same logic of buying 100 bottles of shampoo to get $20 back from your local grocery store to buying OCBDs...

This is probably flogging a dead horse; Just tried to checkout some W+H stuff from nomad only to be greeted with a $85 shipping charge. Seriously, who goes for that?

they charge insured shipping cost, most other stores take an L on the shipping. when their big deals hit in a month it may be more worthwhile for ya

I figure what is the point of a sales thread except for extreme deals? Frankly a 20% discount is pretty much standard around the year, so it rarely makes sense to pay full retail. Hell, I think there should be a 15-20% minimum cap to post in this thread, because who really cares about anything less? Free shipping isn't even worth a post.

I never expect the extreme deal (I find more of those in the eBay/kop this threads), but why not try and push for it in a sales alert thread?

^I think you have to be logged in, and it said it doesn't work on "permanent collection items" I couldn't see where any of the items were marked as such, but of course includes GATS
