Geez what's wrong with buying a used car?

I was given my first car but if something happened to it I would definitely buy a used car, can't afford a new one until I graduate.

Buying pre-owned > buying new when you don't plan on keeping the car forever.

I'd rather buy a car with 10-20k miles on pretty much best value.

Can someone tell me why karmapoop is frowned upon here? They have 30% off with no limitations. I mean a lot of their stuff is pretty bullshit but they do stock some good to great things.
