Basically, treat everything you get from them as FINAL SALE. I've ordered from them before but made the mistake of not checking the return policy beforehand.

I just called them about the deal and, to my understanding, they're willing to work out a store credit for returns. Best for everyone to double check for themselves, however.

^Curious if we need to use this in one shot. Wanna buy it and wait around for a flash sale.

They're getting back to me on when the credit expires. I'll update this thread when I find out. It's either three or six months.

It says on the deal that it expires October 15th.

That would be ridiculous if you can't use credit on sale items. Credit is credit.

They said the promotional value is good for 3 months. If you don't use it before that time, your credit will be bumped down to $200.

Anything you buy can be returned for the original $300 store credit, but it still expires after three months. I assume that's what the Oct. 15th date is.

?

It's pretty standard for these kind of deals to exclude sale items. The store is essentially giving you a 33% discount through the deal - it's common for stores not to allow stacking of discounts ("this offer cannot be combined with other offers" type of language)

they must be using the term wrong then.  credit is like cash.  discount is what is applied to arrive at your final price.  two are completely independent of each other.

No. Sometimes, stores sell store credit at a discount though daily deal websites. They almost always come with restrictions that are similar to other type of promotional offer restrictions.

It's a little unclear when they simply state "Offer cannot be combined with other offers". Is buying something that is marked down combining it with another 'offer'? Why not just say that it can only be used on regular priced items?

Either way, it's $100 off. Buy two Gitmans and that's a good sale price (unless you want to buy from MyHabit and receive a woman's shirt).

Well, there is some confusing shit being posted here. Context accepts returns, but does not issue refunds. This is fairly common practice for small shops in the US. The UD deal explicitly says "Returns for store credit and exchanges are accepted within seven business days of receipt. To make a return or an exchange, please click here."

I wish we could see their fall buy before purchasing this deal devil.gif

A lot of B&M retailers do this because of employee discounts on gift cards.

just seems odd that store credit has restrictions because you've already previously tendered cash.

If it is a store credit, then can I buy it two times and use on the same purchase (on Aldens for example)? There is nothing about credit purchase restrictions in the rules. It would also be nice to be able to apply the store credit against an account in general, not during the particular purchase at checkout, eg. as can be done on Amazon.

I have returned to TBS..... shipping is pretty steep getting it back to Sweden (I had to return shoes). I had visibility into tracking via the USPS customs number, and I contacted them via email 2 days after I showed them in receipt of the package. The return was processed within 24 hours of that email exchange.

Once you take into consideration the return shipping, net net, you may find it comparable to just flip on B&S versus the return.
